Our kids summer camp in Madrid combines outdoor sports, swimming pool every day, chess, creative workshops and a friendly atmosphere where children quickly feel part of the group.
The camp takes place in Ciudad Universitaria, in the Moncloa area of Madrid, using several university residence campuses with sports courts, green areas, swimming pools and large outdoor spaces.
Every summer we welcome both local families and international students spending part of the summer in Madrid. Children usually integrate naturally through games, sports and shared activities, even if Spanish is not their first language.
Children alternate different activities throughout the day depending on their age and preferences. The atmosphere is active, flexible and very outdoors-oriented.
The swimming pool is one of the favourite moments of the day at our summer camp in Madrid. Children usually enjoy pool time twice a day: before lunch and again in the afternoon.
A lifeguard is present at all times, together with the camp monitors accompanying each group.
Younger children use a shallow area where they can comfortably stand in the water, with a depth of approximately 80 cm. Next to the pool there are grass areas where children can rest, play chess, cards or simply relax with friends.
Most activities take place outdoors: sports courts, swimming pool, green areas and open-air spaces inside Ciudad Universitaria.
A normal day starts with flexible arrival times from 7:30 AM. Early arrivals usually enjoy quiet activities such as chess, board games, drawing or outdoor free play.
During the morning, children alternate sports, chess, workshops and group games depending on their chosen activities and age group.
Optional workshops such as robotics, comic art or arts & crafts usually take place during the morning schedule.
Before lunch, the groups normally go to the swimming pool and outdoor grass areas, where children can swim, play or relax.
After lunch there is time for quieter games and activities, and many groups return to the pool again later in the afternoon.
The camp schedule is flexible, and families can choose different arrival and departure times depending on their needs.
Many families choose our kids summer camp in Madrid while spending part of the summer in the city.
One of the biggest advantages of the camp is flexibility. Families can book individual days, weeks or fortnights depending on their plans.
Arrival and departure times are flexible, and you can also choose whether you need breakfast, lunch or afternoon snack.
This makes the camp especially convenient for temporary stays, international families, work trips or holidays in Madrid.
Activities are mainly conducted in Spanish, but international students usually adapt very naturally through sports, games and shared activities. For many children, it is also a fun opportunity to practise Spanish in a real environment.
Meals are prepared every day in the residence’s own kitchen and served in the dining hall. This is not external catering.
The menu is the same one used by the university residence itself, its staff and our camp groups.
Families can usually request adapted meals for allergies, intolerances, vegetarian diets or halal food.
Breakfast is available for early arrivals, lunch for children staying after 2:00 PM, and afternoon snack for late departures.
Our summer camp takes place in several university residence campuses in Ciudad Universitaria: CMU Loyola, CMU Méndel and Colegio Mayor Isabel de España.
The facilities include swimming pools, sports courts, green areas and large outdoor spaces where children can play safely.
Groups are organised by age, friends and activity preferences. Younger children have their own spaces and routines, while older participants enjoy more dynamic sports and workshops adapted to their age.
The camp is well connected by metro through Vicente Aleixandre station, and it is usually easy to stop nearby by car for drop-off and pick-up.
We have been organising summer activities in Madrid for more than fifteen years.
As a result, many families return year after year, and some former participants have even later become camp monitors themselves.
Families especially value the flexibility, the close attention from the staff, the outdoor facilities, the swimming pool every day and the friendly atmosphere.
In addition, children quickly make friends, spend most of the day outdoors and enjoy a healthy combination of sports, games, creativity and technology.
You can calculate your personalised budget online depending on the days, schedules and meal options you need.
Families can choose morning schedule only, full-day attendance, individual days, weeks or longer stays.
